Waking up sick is a miserable feeling, and when your child is sick, you just want to make them feel better. It is frustrating if you call to make an emergent appointment for your sick child and not be able to get in until tomorrow. That is too long when your child is suffering. We can do same-day sick visits for flu symptoms, asthma attacks and minor cuts. Of course, there are circumstances that require an ER visit, but for non-life-threatening issues, we can accommodate many urgent problems.
